Life has a way of presenting us with opportunities that, at first glance, seem daunting. For me, leaving California—a place I've called home for 20 years—to move to another state in less than a month is one of those moments. This decision has been a whirlwind of emotions, but amidst the chaos, there has been a profound sense of peace, a guiding light that I believe is part of God's plan for me.
For years, I've felt a stirring in my soul, an urge to step out of my comfort zone and embrace the unknown. I've always believed that when you listen closely, your heart and gut will tell you what you need to hear. This decision was no different. As I prayed and meditated, seeking clarity, I felt a deep, undeniable instinct urging me to take this leap of faith.
It's easy to let fear dictate our choices. The fear of the unknown, the fear of failure, or even the fear of leaving behind what is familiar. But I am reminded that God has a plan for each of us, a plan filled with hope and a future. Trusting in His plan means believing that every step we take is guided by His loving hand, even when the path isn't clear.
As I pack up my life and prepare for this new chapter, I can't help but reflect on the journey that has led me here. Every challenge, every triumph, every moment of doubt, and every burst of joy has been a part of this beautiful tapestry that God is weaving. I am filled with gratitude for the experiences and people that have shaped me in LA, but I am also filled with excitement for what lies ahead.
Following your instinct and listening to your gut isn't always easy. It requires a level of vulnerability and trust that can be uncomfortable. But it's in these moments of discomfort that we grow the most. I believe that by stepping into the unknown, we open ourselves up to incredible possibilities and blessings that we could never have imagined.
As I embark on this new journey, I am choosing to expect the best. I am choosing to believe that this move is a step towards greater fulfillment, deeper connections, and new adventures. I am choosing to see this as an opportunity to grow closer to God, to lean into His guidance, and to trust that He is leading me exactly where I need to be.
To anyone else who is standing on the precipice of a big decision, wondering if they should take the leap, I encourage you to trust your heart. Listen to that still, small voice within you. Know that you are never alone on this journey and that every step you take is part of a greater plan. Embrace the unknown with open arms and an open heart, and watch as your life unfolds in the most beautiful and unexpected ways.
Leaving Los Angeles is bittersweet, but I am ready. I am ready to embrace this new chapter with faith, hope, and an unwavering belief that the best is yet to come. Here's to new beginnings, to trusting the journey, and to the incredible adventure that lies ahead.

Beautifully written. You have a way of expressing yourself. I wonder if you have ever wondered on publishing a book, whether it’s a journal that we can fill out or a memoir.
